Leeds Running Festival 5k, 10k & Half Marathon

Half Marathon – 9.00am
10k – 9.45am
5k – 9.55am

Race Packs

**ALL RACE PACKS ARE TO BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY**
All entries will be assigned a number at registration. To collect your number, make your way down to the collection desks on Sunday morning. It will take around 15 minutes to collect your number, so please arrive early.
You will only need one number attached to the front of your shirt. Your timing chip will be attached to the bottom of your race bib and needs to be attached to your shoe as per the instructions on the back of the chip. Please make sure you keep your number on at all times during the race. At the finish, you can dispose of your chip (we do not need to collect them back).
Collection Times:
Half Marathon: 7.30 – 8.30am
10k: 8.15 – 9.15am
5k: 8.25 – 9.25am

IMPORTANT: When you receive your race packs, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the brief runner information form which can be found printed on the back of your bib. This will help us greatly in case of an emergency!

Travel

Address: Mansion Lane, Roundhay, Leeds, LS8 2HH

Roundhay Park is situated approximately 3 miles North of Leeds City Centre off the A58 Wetherby Road at Oakwood. Alternatively, Roundhay Park is accessible from the A6120 Leeds Ring Road.

BY BUS

Roundhay Park can be reached by buses to and from Leeds City Centre 2 & 12.

Toilets

There will be portable toilets available to use in the event village. If you live locally we recommend using toilets at home.

Baggage

Please limit the number of belongings you bring to the event.

There will be an informal bag drop area within the event village for runners who need it. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.

During the race

We will have marshals all around the course as well as km markers and arrows.

Half Marathon – 4 laps | 10k – 4 laps | 5k – 2 laps

As this is a multi-lap course there may be points when the lead runners will need to pass and some of the paths are narrow so please be aware of this.

We also ask that you don’t use headphones in order to remain aware of your surroundings at all times and can hear any marshal instructions during the race.

If you need to overtake on the course please be sure to take a wide berth around the runner in front.

Results

Results will be available on www.runthrough.co.uk after the race.

Pictures

We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race, which will be made available on our Facebook page after the race.

Spectators

Spectators are more than welcome to come along and support runners.

Refreshments

Please bring your own water to the event to avoid congestion on the course, there will be a water station on course. We recommend staying hydrated in the lead up to the event.

After the race

Do NOT stop within the finish area. Please continue through the finish until you pass the medals and are in an open space.

There will be sealed ACTIPH water bottles at the finish for each runner to collect along with your medal, Bounce and Love Corn which will be laid out on tables for you to help yourself.
