St Gemma’s Hospice is a local, independent charity and has been providing expert care to the people of Leeds for 45 years. We provide the best possible care and support for local people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. We specialise in pain relief and symptom control to help people live as well as possible, for as long as possible. We are one of the leading hospices in the UK.

We offer care to patients and their carers in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, through the St Gemma’s community team and via out-patients. St Gemma’s welcomes and provides care to everyone regardless of people’s age, gender, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or diagnosis. Our care is always completely free of charge.

 St Gemma’s is the largest hospice in Yorkshire and one of the largest in the UK.
